Not 100% Sure of the location of the center hole or the threads as I do not have the tool post off the compound slide. Figuring it in steel it will weigh about 14-16 lbs. I have the mounting bolts at 1\/4&#8243; may bump them up to 5\/16&#8243;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/My-Tool-Post-Block.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1170\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/My-Tool-Post-Block-300x158.jpg\" alt=\"My Tool Post Block\" width=\"300\" height=\"158\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/My-Tool-Post-Block-300x158.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/My-Tool-Post-Block-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/My-Tool-Post-Block.jpg 1160w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Looks like it will be made from 6061 Aluminum<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/image-7.jpeg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1774\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/image-7-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"image\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/image-7-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/image-7-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/image-7-1024x768.jpeg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To make a Temporary Tool post holder much quicker I decided to use a 1\/2&#8243;T X 5&#8243;W X 6&#8243;L 6061 Aluminum Plate with 2&#8243;T X 3&#8243;W X 3&#8243;L\u00a0 Aluminum Bar Stock.
