I have been an Loyal Aven Microscope owner and user for 10+ Years, maybe closer to 20. I cannot recall when I got my 1st SPZ-50 but it was a very long time ago. I absolutely love it the microscope and it’s optical clarity,\u00a0 smoothness and ergonomics of the controls, is great never an issue with it. A while back I tried an Amscope it was garbage it gave me headache after 30 to 40 minuets of use and the optical distortion was like spearing a fish in water. Once Again In the quest to bring my YouTube viewers some pcb repair content. I went to invest in a Digital Trinocular Microscope. I have been seeking one of these Aven Trinocular for about 5\u00a0 years and have had it on my search list for about 2 years.\u00a0 I make very little from my YouTube! So I need to be very frugal when obtaining items to bring you content so second hand is generally the way that happens. What I got was a Aven Tools Part # 26800B-383<\/a> a $4,200 Microscope with Integrated Light and USB Camera. I later found out This Microscope is Not Repairable No Parts Available from the manufacture! Not even a Simple C-Mount that can be replaced on every other microscope.. keep reading!!<\/p>\n

\nI made an offer and negotiated a fair price with the seller, The ebay seller shipped this Microscope fast but in box with no padding no protection at all. Sadly it did not arrive in working condition :(. This is 100% Negligent Packing. Eye Pieces Were even poking out of the box.

\nEye Pieces right one was worse then the left but both scrap tossed them in the trash.
\nC mount Camera Tube (Camera C-mounts are generally replaceable items on digital microscopes. “microscopes that have digital cameras” it was canted and bent\u00a0 slightly and threads impinged they galled and pulled upon removal. These just like other photography mounts and lenses they are not designed for heavy side loads\/impacts. I am sure if it spent another day in transit the tube would have busted off. The internal threads on the microscope body are damaged as well.
