Dayton 7&#8243; X 12&#8243; Gear\/Direct Drive Bandsaw"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Browsing Facebook Marketplace&#8230; Bang a DAYTON Horizontal Band Saw 4YG30 Popped Up For a Really Good Price!!!<\/p>\n<p>My Shop is Still a Mess 1 Year Later But Coming Together.. Very Slowly.<\/p>\n<p>Right when I seen This Bandsaw I knew I was gonna have to do some work just the looks of the beast but not very much.<\/p>\n<p>So Far Douch &amp; Inspect Gear Box, Worm Drive Gear Bushing &amp; Bolt Missing from Parts Diagram??? Well Part of the Bolt was Digested in the gear Box But all Gears Look Serviceable. I got it rigged up with a homemade bushing\/spacer because the factory bushing is backboard.<\/p>\n<p>The Gear Change Selector was Worn a Bit But I added some metal with the mig and hit it with a file and stone works perfect now.<\/p>\n<p>New Gear Oil in Gear Box Had Some From The Old Outboad that was on the Boat.<\/p>\n<p>I Replaced all 10 Blade Guide Rollers with New SKF Brand $19.00 Ebay.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/20180404_193744.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-3036\" src=\"http:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/20180404_193744-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/20180404_193744-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/20180404_193744-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.stevenrhine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/20180404_193744-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lots of Cleaning, I Aligned it and Bang Cuts Clean Straight. I did notice the Idler \/ tension wheel is a bit squeaky I injected some lube and it quieted it down a little but 2 new quality 6203&#8217;s should resolve that for $10.00.<\/p>\n<p>Dose Anyone know what seals and or o-rings the Hydraulic Feed Cylinder takes?? Prob want to rebuild that also now as it was prob never maintained and o-rings are cheap and have plenty of Hydraulic Fluid around here&#8230; Msg me on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ContractPilot\">Facebook.<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Before Photo As it was Delivered..
