Bytek S125 Eprom Prom Gang Programmer Teardown

This is the Bytek S125 Programmer from the mid to late 1980’s.
A Few of the buttons have Broken off been floating around here for decades! I lost the diskettes that had the software I was unable to locate a copy online. I was able to find a sales advertisement from byte magazine April 1987

I am Doing a Quick Tear down To Document It For Historical Value.

So, Lets Open Her Up! Wow look at all them bodge wires!!

Base holds the power supply, fan, and speaker the Top cover holds the main board.

With the main board removed bottom and top bottom side and top side exposed.

I backed up the poms never know if someone is restoring one of these and may need a backup!

Top side has 2 an Prom and a Brpom and the Bottom side has 1 Eprom (Download Bytek S125 Rom Set Here)

Re Assemble! Place in E-waste Bin.

This will be on the next e-waste scrap run unless someone wants it? You may contact me and if you pay the shipping costs it is yours. Maybe you will have better luck finding the software for it or use it for parts for a broken one.
