I have the Ram Check and Needed to test some 200pin DDR 333 Memory. The Ram check adapter was hundreds of $$$ I came across the Keystron DDR SODIMM-DIMM KS200-184 Adapter.I was kinda Leary as the photos were not good on both sites.
I found it on Walmart Market place first for about $29.95 + Tax.
Then found it on Ebay for $39.95 Tried offering the same $29.95 But the Ebay system Errored out so I bought on walmart.
Item shipped and arrived fast.
This Adapter Works great with the RAMCHECK memory tester.
I verified it with DDR333 200-pin SODIMMs 256MB, 512MB, and 1GB from several different manufacturers, and it detected and tested all of them without issue.
Build quality is acceptable but the QC could be better. Mine arrived with one crooked capacitor (C2) and one partially tombstoned capacitor (C3) still making connection barley. Neither is a deal breaker: a Crooked capacitor is just cosmetic, the Partially tombstoned capacitor is minor and easy to correct as well.
X-ray analysis shows the PCB itself is good quality no issues in the internal layers or vias, the solder connections on the 200pin connector are more then acceptable.
If you have a RAMCHECK and a pile of 200-pin DDR SODIMMs to check, this does the job. I would buy again in an instant. Thanks for making this adapter will help a bunch of RamCheck Owners out I hope the quality of soldering of the capacitors improves.
