Flash U501 & U502 28F320J3 TSOP56
A MAX3223ECPP On the Bottom of the Board.
I gave it +5V and some current and 2 Tantlums C104 and C308 glowed under FLIR as well as that U101 a mosfet removed tantalum Both tantalum’s confirmed shorted as well as the mosfet. I Replaced tantalum’s with some I had on hand I removed the mosfet and it cleared the short but this may have other issues. I may order a mosfet on my next mouser or digikey order not sure.
U101 IC Marked 55M is Also marked 2012 I believe it is a mosfet TPS2012 from the pad layout.
I spent 20-30min on it that’s my max before I condemn it to the feebay or scrap bin. Since I do not have a piece of test equipment it works on.
I spent another 30min determined that the NI4882 Chip is bad this is a parts bin device now.
I will back up the Flash and the Xilinx chip.
