Data I/O 29B Unipack 2B Public Open Source Reproduction Adapters
As part of the ongoing hardware documentation work here at Rhine Labs, I have created and published a PCB footprint for the Data I/O 29B Unipack 2B cartridge board for use in EasyEDA Pro, a free PCB design tool. The footprint was derived from physical measurements of original Unipack 2B hardware and includes the 18-pin edge connector, four corner mounting holes, and a through-hole LED position matching the original cartridge layout (This LED Can be moved to suit your adapter). If you are repairing, reproducing, or building custom adapter hardware around the 29B platform, this gives you an accurate mechanical starting point without having to measure an original board yourself. A link to the EasyEDA Pro footprint is posted below.

If you make an adapter with this footprint please message me I will be sure to post a link to the file below maybe we can get them all reproduced one day.

Adapter Pack Housing 3D Model
I don’t have the time or the skill to 3D model a case. If anyone is in Vancouver WA and wants to 3d model a housing and provide the files using a common cad program (Freecad, Fuesion, Tinkercad, Openscad, Etc) I am willing to lone out one of my Housings but I cannot have it gone for more then a couple days.
July 2025
I Paid a local to do a model of the housing ($35 at drop off /$40 on pickup). He said it would be done in a week, prob take him about 3 hours. After 2 weeks I called cheking on the status and the guy bailed on me and never returned the housing. a follow up call his phone is disconnected. I am now out a little cash and the lower housing. so you must be mobile and do it here! Sorry..
