After nearly 2 Decades my Tektronix 2710 Spectrum has given up. I researched the issue and was not really worth my time to fix. I Obtained a Rigol DSA815 Spectrum Analyzer (Non Tracking Generator) For The Lab at a Price I Could Not Pass Up.

Fun times ahead “Not Really”, I will need to make some time to rearrange the bench once again.

I wanted a Siglent SSA3021X Plus But Was Not in the Budget at the Moment and I  Missed the Labor Day Amazon Deal and Nothing scheduled for Black Friday that I was able to Find. Really did not want to spend much on a Spectrum analyzer as it only gets used a hand full of times a year and the old Tektronix 2710 usually got the Job Done.

Sadly the Rigol Spectrum Analyzer will still be the odd one out in the Siglent Based Lab. It Will be Nice Having the Added Features of The Modern Spectrum Analyzer. This may just be a stop gap still would really like a Siglent SSA3021X Plus it may happen in 2022 you never know?

Rigol DSA815 Spectrum Analyzer Is a Little Taller and Wider then the Tektronix 2710 But Much Thinner. The DSA 815 is also Slightly larger and thicker then the Siglent SDS1104X-E Oscilloscope.
