A while back after the Ex Vice President Joe Biden Signed the Executive order Executive Order 14036 On Right to Repair. The order directs the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to draft regulations that limit OEMs’ ability to restrict independent repairs of their products. The FTC had already written a report Wrote Nixing the Fix: An FTC Report to Congress on Repair Restrictions which covered most the opposition anti repair talking points. Subsequently In June 2021 H.R.4006 – Fair Repair Act was filed in the house of representatives.
I did what most should do if you want to support something you believe in I wrote all my Senators and House Rep’s both Republican and Democrat because Right to Repair is not a Partisan issue!
On September 8th 2121, I Received a Letter so Far. That letter was form Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler. The letter is very out of touch with what happening at the federal level.
I have responded pointing out the issues with her letter and requested another reply.
Update: 09/29 I Received a Response form a Mallory Shaevsky an aid to Congresswoman Jaime Herrera Beutler.

12/15/2021 Received A Reply it don’t seem like she grasps Right to Repair.
